Philadelphia Beekeepers Guild

Our February Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 18th (the 3rd Thursday of Feb.) For those of you that are new to the club we meet at the Wyck House, a historic property in Germantown. Directions can be found at www.wyck.org. There is a small parking lot, but plenty of parking is available on nearby streets.
The club meets from 7:30 – 9:00. Our meeting in February will be focusing on “club business”. I will be sending out an agenda for the meeting sometime next week. I did want to make everyone aware that one of our “members” David Harrod has volunteered to organize a group equipment order, we are also in the process of organizing workshops to assist with the assembly of equipment. David will be presenting at February’s meeting as well as sending out a detailed e-mail sometime next week. Keep this in mind if you are planning to order equipment for the spring. I appreciated David’s help with this, and feel that this is going to be a very helpful service of our club. By the way, because we had to come up with a name for our group for the January meeting, we are now called The Philadelphia Beekeeper’s Guild!
