Located in the cradle of American beekeeping, the Philadelphia Beekeepers Guild works to encourage and promote urban beekeeping through fellowship and education, and to raise awareness of the importance of bees to our environment.

About the Guild

The Philadelphia Beekeepers Guild was started in the fall of 2009 as an informal meeting of local beekeepers held once a month at Wyck House in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Because of the strong response from the community it was decided that the guild should establish itself as a non-profit organization with a mission and a constitution.
